Support Katelyn and Heberto's Cancer Battle

Hey everyone, my name is Katelyn Russell. My husband, Heberto Martinez, got diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer about 2-3 years ago, and since then, he has been fighting every day with chemo and immunotherapy after getting a kidney removed. Through it all, he has stayed strong and continued to fight for our family and has even continued to work up until the beginning of this year.

This is because at the beginning of this year, they found another cancer spot in his abdomen and wanted to remove it. Two days later, he was sent into surgery, and from then until now, our world got turned upside down. He had many complications from the first surgery and has since had two more in a span of just a couple of months. He has lost his job, and losing his job included losing his insurance.

We are trying very hard to get him on Medicaid, but the bills are piling up, and the savings is going away quickly for him. This isn’t something we ever wanted to have to do, but at this point, we don’t have much choice but to kindly ask for donations to help us pay for his large medical bills and possibly even help pay other bills as well. Please keep my husband and our family in your prayers, and seriously, anything means something to us.
