Kate has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, with cancer now found in her liver, bones, lungs, lymph nodes, eyes and brain. While this news has been heartbreaking for Kate, Wade and the family, she continues to face it with remarkable courage and resilience.

At the moment, there are still many unanswered questions. Kate has recently undergone brain surgery and extensive testing, with specialists working to better understand the cancer and identify the treatments most likely to help. We are exploring state-of-the-art testing, targeted therapies, clinical trials and emerging treatment options, many of which were not available when Kate was first diagnosed. While the path forward is still becoming clearer, the reality is that we are no longer aiming for a cure. Instead, the goal is to find the best treatments available to keep the cancer under control, maintain Kate's quality of life, and help her live as fully and as well as possible.

Four years ago, Kate was diagnosed with breast cancer and faced chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy with the strength, optimism and determination that so many people know and love her for. When treatment ended, we truly believed she had beaten it and normallity would return, but sadly life has taken another unexpected turn.
