It is with a heavy heart that I am creating this GoFundMe account for my dear friend, Kate. Kate and her 12-year-old daughter's lives were shattered this morning when Luke, Kate's true love of 18 years, suffered a massive heart attack in their home. Despite Kate's best efforts and those of the EMT team, he did not make it.

Luke loved his family, living life, and spending time commercial fishing. Luke was a proud and devoted father to their daughter, Ula, and was always good for lively conversation and a good laugh. When he was not with his family, he was working to provide for them on his commercial fishing boat.

With this sudden and unexpected loss, not only is his family grief stricken, but without his commercial fishing income their future remains uncertain. Anything that you may be able to offer to Kate and Ula at this time would be very much appreciated.
