Support Katalina's Journey to Alleviate Dysphoria

I'm katalina! (She/her) I'm a 24 year old trans woman living in the midwest USA. I'm disabled, (BPD, chronic PTSD, recurrent major depressive disorder, panic disorder w/ agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, non-24 hour sleep wake disorder)

I had sort of accepted that facial feminization surgery was never going to be an option for me- I'm very poor & can't work the way other people can because of my extensive mental health issues & sleep disorder. I'm currently unemployed, and have never made more than $1500 in one year, and when I do make money, most of it has to go towards food, hygiene, etc. It is extremely difficult to get any kind of financial assistance for disability in Ohio, which is where I live, and I can't afford to relocate. I can't get by on my own. I rely on friends, family, my partner, and general mutual aid to get by 75% of the time, and things are going to get a lot harder financially for my partner and I in the coming months when our housemate moves out. I discovered a program that offers grants for transitional healthcare, but the grant only offers up to 5,000 USD, and the facial feminization surgeon I would be seeing charges a baseline $9750 for chin shaving & rhinoplasty. Ideally, I would like to get a brow lift at the same time as the chin shaving & rhinoplasty which would cost an extra $4000, and there is no guarantee I will be approved for the grant either. If I'm approved for the 5k grant, the extra money will go towards getting the brow lift done as well as the other two surgeries. These surgeries would go a very long way in alleviating my gender dysphoria. Online, I generally put forward a very curated, filtered version of my appearance. In my everyday life I don't feel nearly as comfortable in my own skin as I do online when I can edit and filter images. My jaw, chin, nose and eyebrows all cause intense dysphoria for me, and it can make my anxiety and depression both so much worse. Any and all donations, big or small, would mean the world to me & these surgeries would go a long way towards making me comfortable in my own skin.
