Support Kasun and Kids After Malika's Loss

Dear friends and family,

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Malika Godamudunage. She was the beloved wife of Kasun Imaduwage, devoted mother to their 10-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son, and a cherished friend to many.

Malika and Kasun both graduated from Peradeniya University in 2007 and later earned their Ph.D.s in Chemistry in the USA at NMSU and KU. After years of hard work and sacrifice, they recently moved to Illinois to begin the next chapter of their lives and careers. Tragically, Malika fell ill and was hospitalized last Tuesday. Despite all efforts, she passed away on Wednesday, March 26, leaving behind her husband and two young children.

During his incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out for your support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to ease the financial burdens Kasun now faces. All donations will be sent directly to Kasun’s bank account as a gift to support him. Any contribution, big or small, will help lighten the financial strain and allow us to focus on honoring Malika’s memory.
