Hello my name is Kassondra. I was first diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer when I was 23 years old in 2016. For 8 years I was under hormone therapy and my cancer was undetectable, but I found out May of 2024 that the cancer was back and aggressive. I have Stage IV Type 2 Endometrial Adenocarcinoma with extensive metastasis in my abdomen. In August of 2026 doctors went in for a third surgery related to my cancer and found that I now additionally have not only stage IV Endometrial Cancer, but now have Metastatic Stage IV breast Carcinoma. The doctors believe I may even have an entirely new cancer syndrome, never seen before. 

Treatment will be experimental, and they really don't think I will survive or beat these cancers, but I am determined to fight for not just myself, but for those I love.

I married the love of my life in 2023, and while we were looking into fertility options the uterine cancer was found. It's been devastating not just emotionally, but also financially.

Between testing, multiple operations and chemotherapy, and immunotherapy, our finances have taken a huge hit. I currently am paying for medical insurance, and it has not been cheap. I do not qualify for government assistance/OHP at this time because without children the income requirements are lower than my husbands job, by $100. 

I've been using my short term and long term disability due to side effects of my surgeries, the chemo, and the immunotherapy treatments. I have been hospitalized several times due to this.

My operation for debulking tumors was 9/5/2024 and I have not been able to return to work. I finished my chemotherapy and started higher Immunotherapy infusions, which continue to inhibit my ability to go back to my work due to extremely disabling side effects. They are now saying Chemo is going to be part of my treatment once again.

This journey has been rough. Cancer is a difficult disease, especially doubled, and at such an advanced and terminal stage. My hope is to raise enough money to ease the financial strain on my family. I'm thankful for any donations to help me achieve this goal. The funds will go towards primarily hospital bills and then to help with rent, utilities, food, basic needs, and the already existing medical debt.
