Hello my name is Kassie Howard. I am a teacher looking for help because I’m facing foreclosure, and I’m running out of time.

In one short stretch of time, a series of misfortunate events has hit my household: my house flooded, my car broke down, my hot-water heater went out, and my son needed an unexpected surgery. Each problem drained what little savings I had, and I could not keep up with my bills. I’ve been doing everything I can to recover, but the costs hit faster than I was able to manage.

Now I’m behind on my mortgage, and without the $4,350 by December 1st, the bank will move forward with foreclosing on my home. Losing my home would mean starting over with nothing, and I’m fighting hard to prevent that.
