Support Kassie Heller's Journey

Hey, y’all! I am Amy Hart. I am starting this go fund me for my cousin, Kassie Heller. Kassie is like a sister to me, and it has really upset me that she’s enduring this.

Kassie is only 36 years old, and has been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor on her pancreas, and there are lesions that have spread to her liver.

Kassie has been battling with nausea and vomiting on a regular basis. She went to the doctor, and they told her it was from some medication that she had stopped. She continued with the n/v and started having severe pain in her abdomen. Kassie suffers from kidney stones, so she went to the Emergency Department on May 25, 2025. The doctor ordered a scan, and that is when the cancer was found.

Kassie has been referred to Prisma for follow up care, due to the shots that she will be given for an undefined amount of time. The shots will hopefully keep the tumor from growing any larger.

As you can imagine, time from her job has been lost. She is a newer employee, and has not started receiving paid time off. Kassie will also be missing work for the days to come due to doctors appts, shots, scans, etc.

Kassie’s car is literally on its last leg! Rent is still due, and every day living is costly! Food, phone bills, and gas will keep being a need!
