Support Kassidy's Road to Recovery

Hi, I’m Sam Nelson and I’m a friend of Kassidy’s. Kassidy was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident on June 19 versus a car where she flew roughly 50-80 feet that resulted in her being hospitalized. Kassidy ended up breaking both arms in multiple places, her right wrist and hand, and all 5 fingers on her right hand which required rods to be put in. Her left arm required a skin graft where they took healthy skin from her left thigh to help repair the arm. She broke her left foot and currently has very limited movement in her right leg which should come back as she relearns how to walk with extensive therapy. Kassidy’s pelvis also shattered requiring 2 major surgeries, roughly 10 hours in total and she was in a medically induced coma for 3 days. 

Anyone that knows Kass knows that her pride and joy was her bike that she worked so hard to get. Kass is a very strong and independent young woman so being stuck in the hospital and losing that independence is very hard on her.

All proceeds will go to help pay for her day to day bills outside of the hospital as she will be unable to work for an extensive period of time. Kass will need a lot of physical therapy and has a very long recovery road ahead of her as she relearns how to use her body but she is very thankful to be alive and for all the love and support that she has been shown. Since the hospital is her new home for the time being she would love to see everyone’s familiar faces and any sort of comfort items to make her feel loved and at home.
