My niece, Kassi Warner, has recently been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer. She is a 33-year-old loving mother, wife, daughter, niece, and friend to many. She has 3 beautiful children ages 7, 2.5 years old and 7 months. She is a stay-at-home mom who would work at night or on the weekends when her husband Allen could be home with the kids.

On Friday November 26th, Kassi underwent a 10-hour surgery to remove the cancer from her thyroid gland, vocal cords, and lymph nodes from her chest where the cancer had spread. During the surgery they had to remove her thyroid gland and some glands that help maintain the calcium levels in her body. The plan was that she would get out of the hospital on Monday 11/29, however, due to the removal of those glands it has been very had to maintain her calcium levels which must be resolved before she can be released. She is currently still in the hospital with the hope she will be able to get out this week sometime.

When she gets home, she cannot lift anything (not even her 7-month-old baby girl ☹) so family members are going to be helping as Allen must go back to work. She will not be able to go back to her job for quite a few months. Also, she will need to get several tests done between now and when she needs to do radiation treatment early next year. When she gets radiation, she will again need to leave her young family to quarantine as no one can be around her for at least 2 weeks.

With the surgery, her hospital stay and many tests and radiation coming their medical bills are mounting as you can imagine. We are looking to help this young family with monetary donations to help them pay their medical bills to give them some comfort and the need to not worry about another thing.
