Hello, my name is Richard and I’m somewhat embarrassed and ashamed even doing this but I would do anything for my little baby puppy. I have a 3 year old boy Pomeranian named Kash who is the cutest little boy with a tremendous personality and heart that is all about love and hugs and kisses and is a huge part of our lives. But unfortunately needs surgery. He has had a problem with his left knee since he was a year old. My wife and I have taken him to our vet and they thought as he grew it would have corrected itself but sadly it only got worse. It started off with a slight limp sometimes but now has progressed to him completely not putting any weight on his leg at all. We took him “again” to our vet a couple weeks ago and we were told that he would definitely need surgery or possibly if the X-rays the vet sent to a surgeon would result in him getting his leg amputated. That was heartbreaking to hear for us and even worse thought for what he would have to go through. But this week we received great news, the surgeon told us that the surgery should have him fully recovered and have a normal doggy life. Now the reality of the situation hits us, my wife and I live in NYC and things are kinda expensive. And to be honest we live comfortably but we also live paycheck to paycheck and never really expected something like this to happen and don’t have the means to get all of the money for the surgery. I know everyone has their own issues and I don’t expect my problem to be put on anyone. But like I said in the very beginning of this post “I would do anything for my pup.” Even if it means putting my head down and asking everyone for some help.
