Support Kasey's Journey to Normalcy with POTS

Hi All, my name is Kasey. I have recently been diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). There isn’t much in the way of medication or other medical procedures that can help. My day is filled with aching joints, feeling beyond tired, tripping and falling, which results in a lot of sprains and painful bruises, dizziness, fatigue, inability to exercise, lightheadedness, or fainting. I often want to join in fun activities, but I am normally too sick and have to go lie down. I do have my wonderful German Shepherd she always comforts me, unfortunately she’s 15 and we don’t have much time with her left.
There is hope in making my life much easier to deal with and that’s a trained service dog For Pots. They can keep me balanced when walking, alert me to when my heart rate is too high, and lie with me until the episode is over. They provide deep pressure therapy, fetch medications and more. They can help with everyday activities so I do not faint or get dizzy and much more. Overall, it would help better my life with this syndrome and help me get a little normalcy in my life again. Again even sharing or 1$ helps, even if I make my goal I will still end up paying 7k out of pocket but it’s worth it!
