Help Support Kasey Kirkman’s Recovery Journey

Our dear friend Kasey Kirkman was involved in a serious four-wheeler accident that left her with multiple injuries and a long road to recovery ahead. She was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she underwent an extensive 6-hour surgery to repair severe damage to her right arm and leg.

Kasey sustained:

• Two breaks in her right foot and right leg

• Four breaks in her right arm

• A broken rib on her left side

• Required two units of blood and multiple IV fluids

• She is still currently on oxygen but showing her incredible strength each day.

Doctors are hopeful that Kasey will be able to move to inpatient therapy later this week, where she’ll begin the next step in her recovery journey.

As many of us know, it takes two incomes to keep a household running, and both Kasey and her husband are currently unable to work while she heals. Medical bills, travel expenses, and everyday costs are already adding up, and the timeline for Kasey’s return to work is uncertain.
