On May 2nd, our dear friend Kasey lost her father, Tim Staples, in a sudden and tragic accident. At just 24 years old, Kasey is facing the kind of heartbreak no one is ever prepared for.

As an only child, Kasey now finds herself navigating not just deep grief, but many unexpected responsibilities and expenses that come with losing a parent. During this time, we want to lift some of that weight from her shoulders so she can focus on healing.

Kasey is a hairstylist, and like so many in this industry, if she’s not behind the chair, she doesn’t get paid. We’re starting this fundraiser to give her the space and support she needs—without the added worry of how to cover daily life while she mourns the loss of the most important person in her world.

Funds will go toward:

• Funeral and memorial expenses

• Time away from work to grieve and process

• Living expenses during this difficult transition
