On Monday, November 17th, 2025, a devastating fire tore through my best friend's home, leaving nothing behind but grief. While we’re incredibly grateful that they escaped safely, the loss is overwhelming — their home, their belongings, and heartbreakingly, almost all of their beloved animals are gone.

Everything they built, everything that made their house a home, vanished in moments. The grief of losing the animals they loved so deeply is something words can’t fully express.

Now, they are faced with the unimaginable task of starting over from nothing. They need help replacing essentials like clothes, food, and temporary housing, as well as caring for the surviving animals.

Anyone who knows Kasen, Kamden, & Candace know their heart — they’ve always been the first to help others, to open their home and care for anyone in need. Now it’s our turn to show them that same love and support.
