Support Karson Jace's NICU Journey

Dear friends and family, we are reaching out during an incredibly challenging time for our family as my daughter and Robert welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Karson Jace, just three weeks ago. Unfortunately, Karson has been diagnosed with silent aspiration dysphagia, which makes it difficult for him to swallow and puts him at risk for food or liquid entering his lungs.

He has been in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the past week and we are uncertain when he might be able to come home. To ensure he receives the vital nutrition he needs, he is going to require an additional feeding tube. The doctors are recommending the placement of a G-tube directly into his stomach for long-term support. This proposed procedure has added to our worries as we navigate not only Karson’s immediate health concerns but also the uncertainty of his future progress.

Meanwhile, the financial strain is growing, with hospital bills accumulating, constant travel to the NICU, and essential items needed for his care during this time.
