Terrible things can happen to great people. Such is the case with our colleague and friend, Karma Wood. On April 12th, she was driving home from a university event and began to feel unwell. She reached out to her husband on the phone, and he luckily sensed the severity of the issue and immediately called 911 and alerted them to her location. Upon arrival, paramedics stabilized her and quickly had her on a LifeFlight to Intermountain Hospital in Murray, UT, where surgeons repaired a brain aneurysm. She spent nearly 3 weeks in the hospital and was transferred to a rehab facility at the University of Utah on May 1st, where she continues treatment.

This unexpected hospitalization has resulted in tremendous financial hardship. Please join me in helping Karma regain her financial footing while she works to recover from this event.
