Dear friends and family, I am setting up a go fund me account for my brother, Karl, who suffered a traumatic brain injury on Friday, September 13th while trucking through Utah. My sister, Karen and I flew to Salt Lake City to get him from the hospital last Wednesday. We drove him 1300 miles home and he is waiting to get into a rehabilitation and therapy program at Mayo. It’s painfully hard to ask for help as my siblings and I have been fiercely independent all of our adult lives. Karl is no longer able to drive so we are turning his truck into the leasing company tomorrow. He will be without work for an indefinite amount of time. It could be 3 months or forever. We are taking it one day at a time. Thank you all for the prayers and moral support. I have also set up an account in Zumbrota at Frandsen bank in my name for his benefit. Any assistance you could give would truly be a very big blessing. Our family is pooling our resources as well but we fear this will be a very big and long term ordeal.
