Support Karl's Journey to Surgery for HS

Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out to ask for your support to help Karl and family. As we all may be aware Karl has Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). He has been battling this chronic and painful skin condition for years, and despite trying various treatments, his doctors have recommended a specialized surgical procedure in Germany that could significantly improve his quality of life.

HS causes painful lumps, abscesses, and tunnels under the skin, often in areas like the armpits, groin, and buttocks. It has severely affected Karl’s daily life, making even the simplest tasks a struggle. I have attached a few pictures of what HS can look like (please do be aware picture may be a little graphic). The surgery is costly, and Karl needs our help to cover the travel, accommodation, and aftercare needed for the procedure.

The road to recovery will be challenging, but with your generosity, Karl can finally have a chance at a pain-free life and return to doing the things he loves.
