My family is going through one of the hardest moments of our lives. My father, Karl, has recently been placed on hospice care after his kidneys failed, and doctors have also found a large blood clot in a major vein that is continuing to grow.

Karl is the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He has always been full of humor, bringing laughter to those around him even in tough times. One of the things he loves most is his dog, Roy, and his greatest wish right now is to spend the time he has left at home, surrounded by his family and Roy.

My primary focus is on making sure he is comfortable, at peace, and surrounded by love during this time. Hospice care allows us to honor his wishes, but it also comes with unexpected financial burdens.

Due to his prior health conditions, we were unable to secure life insurance over the last several years. This has made this situation even more difficult for he and I.

I am asking for support to help cover medical expenses, hospice care, and to assist with future funeral arrangements. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much to me and Karl.
