Hi! My name is Karlie McWilliams. I have just graduated from seminary with a Master of Divinity and am seeking ordination in the United Methodist Church as a deacon. Currently, I have been preaching semi-regularly, and in fact over four months will have preached 9 sermons at 7 churches in 4 denominations. I have presented papers at three conferences and I graduated at the top of my class. In the fall, I will be doing a unit of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) in the Chaplaincy group at a local hospital, and I have already interned as a student pastor at a local church. I hope that by establishing my bona fides, you can see that donating to me will be money well spent! In order to continue in the ordination process, I need to pay a $500 fee. Sadly, at this time I have only been able to find employment at a retail store. Any money you might be able to give towards helping me to meet this fee would be appreciated, and any money beyond that would go to paying off mortgage debt.
