Hello, my name is Karla P. and I am a proud Latina nursing student at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts. As a first-generation college student, I am working hard every single day to turn my passion for helping others into a lifelong career as a registered nurse.

Nursing school is incredibly demanding—mentally, emotionally, and financially. While I am committed to giving my all in class Im facing a financial hardship with making my school monthly payments. Gurnick is a privete school so it requires who to have a studnert loan or make payments. I have been doing it on my own. All donations will go to my Gurnick school account.I have always believed in the power of resilience, education, and giving back. My goal is not just to become a nurse, but to serve underserved communities, advocate for health equity, and inspire other young woman to pursue their dreams.
