Hello Friends,

We are the Joyner family. Unfortunately, our dad had a terrible accident. On August 8th, he fell off of a roof roughly 25ft high, breaking his back in two places, shattering his right heel, & also had 2 brain bleeds. Since then, he has had a successful back surgery with no nerve or permanent damage. The brain bleeds have absorbed back into the brain & are no longer an issue thankfully. The heel on the other hand, is still a work in progress, once the swelling goes down he will have surgery. He is also required to attend a rehabilitation center for approximately one month.

Karl is an amazing father to three children, two beautiful grandchildren, and is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Lori, who also just celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on August 11th. He is 57 with a young soul, and he truly is the life of the party around here. He is the main provider for his family and is also self employed with no benefits for himself, his accident really has put us in a bind.

The reason for this GoFundMe is to help with medical expenses and to help while he is out of work at least 6 months.
