My name is Giulia, I’m reaching out on behalf of my wonderful partner, Karissa, who is about to undergo top surgery. After reaching the top of the waitlist, we’ve learned that there’s an additional fee that we weren’t prepared for. She has received OHIP coverage but unfortunately it doesn’t cover all of it. She has struggled all her life with the loss of both parents, living with a disability, and undergoing gender dysphoria. This surgery means the world to her, and we’re doing everything we can to make it happen.
