I’m creating this gofundme for my daughter Karissa Crum. As most of you know back in October her and her daughter Addy were in an automobile accident which left Karissa with a broken neck and time off work. The community came together and helped her and Addy overcome that difficult time. It was very much appreciated. Karissa was only back to work for 4 weeks before she was scheduled to have a minor surgery.

On February 24th Karissa went in to have cyst surgically removed from her ovaries. Unfortunately, part of her bowels were cut during this process, which caused surgeons to go in for a second surgery on February 25 th where they fixed the original part of the bowel that was leaking. After that surgery she still was having issues with fluid draining from her incision she had to go in on March 7 for a third surgery removing more bowels and colon.

this whole ordeal has left Karissa unable to work longer than she had expected and adding lots of financial stress as she is trying to heal. Karissa is a single mother who has always had two jobs to support her and her daughter. She is not one to ever ask for help but she could use as much help as she could get at this time. We all could also use many prayers. It’s been so difficult watching her go through all of this at no fault of her own.
