My name is Karishma, and I’m raising funds for my mother, Munira Pall, who is currently fighting for her life in hospital. Over the past few weeks, her health declined rapidly. What started as stomach pain and bloating turned into complete unresponsiveness, internal bleeding, and liver failure. She stopped eating, couldn’t speak, and drifted in and out of consciousness. She was rushed to hospital and admitted in critical condition. Doctors have diagnosed her with advanced liver cirrhosis, which has now caused: Internal bleeding in her digestive tract (melena) Severe fluid buildup in her lungs and abdomen Suspected cancer nodules in both lungs Enlarged lymph nodes Breathing difficulties requiring emergency drainage She now has a chest tube inserted to remove fluid around her lungs, and that fluid is currently being tested for cancer, TB, or bacterial infection. The doctors are still trying to stabilize her enough to perform further procedures like an endoscopy and biopsies — but everything depends on how her body responds day by day. This has taken an unimaginable emotional and financial toll on our family. We’ve already spent everything we had on emergency care, scans, bloodwork, medications, and round-the-clock monitoring. We urgently need funds for: Hospital bills (ongoing daily) CT, MRI, and lab investigations Drainage procedures and follow-ups Liver medications and nutritional support Potential oncology care, if malignancy is confirmed This is a fight for her life and we’re not giving up.
