Late last year, my cousin Kari was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular breast cancer. Since then, she has gone through multiple tests, endocrine therapy, and three surgeries in 2.5 months, with another scheduled for next week, hopefully her last. While she is on the road to recovery, the journey has been incredibly challenging, both emotionally and financially. Kari is a single mom and someone who has always been independent and reluctant to ask for help. But the reality is that the costs of surgeries, follow-up care, and medications have added up quickly, making this already difficult time even more overwhelming. Despite everything, Kari has shown so much strength and resilience. She continues to face each step with courage and positivity while focusing on healing and being there for her family. We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden of her medical expenses so she can focus fully on her recovery and family.
