Hello, my name is Kari. I’m asking for a little help during an unexpected setback. A couple of weeks ago, I started a new job and was really hopeful about moving forward. Unfortunately, I slipped on icy steps and broke both bones in my lower left leg and dislocated my ankle. Because of the severity of the injury, I’m currently unable to work and won’t be able to return to this new job for at least 3 months.

Right now I’m just trying to cover basic expenses like keeping food on the table and the heat on for my daughter and me. I’m hoping to raise around $2000 to help get me through this period until I’m able to work again. Any support, even sharing this, would mean more than I can say.
