Kari Running-Matthews was recently diagnosed with a high-grade astrocytoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.

As she begins treatment, we’ve launched this fundraiser to help ease the financial pressure so she can focus fully on her health and recovery.

Kari grew up in Paso Robles with her brother and two sisters and has always remained close to her family. She lives with her husband, Sam, and works as a project manager at JW Design. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, gardening, and spending time with her dogs. She's also a proud and involved aunt to two nieces and two nephews.

Fighting brain cancer is one of the toughest challenges anyone can face, but Kari is approaching it with strength and determination. She just needs a little help from her community right now.
