Support Karina and Roberts Family After Tragic Fire
Donation protected
Over the weekend, my dear friend, her children, and husband lost everything in a fire. In Karina's words: "On Saturday, 10/26, at around ten pm, my daughter Chloe was sleeping in her camper outside. She had a propane heater on as she'd had for months now. She says she woke up to a loud bang and the RV was on fire. She was able to get out and scream for help, but the fire couldn't be stopped. She lost everything, including her animals, and she's devastated. While my husband and two boys were in the house trying to get the fire out, there was a big explosion, and the RV, porch, and house caught on fire. We're not sure where to go from here, but luckily we had insurance, so we're waiting to see what they say. What wasn't lost in the fire is now gone from the smoke and water damage. Anything helps, even prayers. Thank you."
Karina and Robert are both active in our community. Karina is a long-time caregiver of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Robert is a mechanic and coaches baseball. Both have a strong sense of self-reliance and frankly aren't the type to ask for help. So, I am asking on their behalf. Like Karina said, anything helps, even if all you can offer is prayer. The animals who survived need a lot of care, and if anyone has access to resources for the animals, please reach out to Karina or Elycia.
