Karin Gittins needs our help!

About 4 weeks ago, Karin and her 2 children were in a terrible car accident that has left Karin with many injuries and numerous challenges. We are so thankful her two children survived the accident with minor injuries. Karin, on the other hand has a long and difficult road to recovery.

Some of her injuries include a broken neck, broken leg, brain bleed, spinal issues, numerous staples in her head, neurological issues, and vision difficulties. To make matters worse, she has also suffered a major complication because of a medical mistake. She had to have a difficult and risky surgery to re-break and reset bones in her leg that were left to heal incorrectly.

As an artist and educator, Karin has inspired countless students and audiences. Through every show, lesson, or performance, Karin brings boundless energy, kindness, and joy, encouraging others to find their voices and express themselves. Now, after this unexpected accident, she needs our help.

The injuries are severe, and the path to healing has involved surgeries and will involve physical therapy, and an extended period away from work. In addition to all the physical difficulties, the mental toll its taken on her and her children will require long term therapy that insurance will not cover. Medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses are quickly adding up, creating an overwhelming financial burden.
