Karim is a warm, friendly, and kind-hearted surf instructor based in Essaouira, Morocco. Over the years, he has welcomed countless visitors to Morocco, making them feel at home while teaching them how to surf. He always goes above and beyond to ensure his students feel safe and confident in the water, creating unforgettable experiences for those fortunate enough to know him.

Karim is the sole breadwinner for his family after losing his father a few years ago. He cares deeply for his mother, who is diabetic, and his sister, who has Down Syndrome. Recently, Karim’s mother was hospitalised and diagnosed with a serious heart condition. She now requires urgent surgery, but the financial burden is far beyond what Karim can manage on his own.

As a surf instructor, Karim’s income is seasonal and unpredictable. Despite his hard work and best efforts, he is struggling to raise the funds needed for his mother’s life-saving surgery.
