Hi, I'm Deb Discenza, former work colleague and family friend of Dave Waldack. His wife, Kari Waldack, has given me permission to start this GoFundMe for her and the girls.

For those of you not aware, Dave Waldack, in his 50s, collapsed at the gym of a massive heart attack on 9/13/24 and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Leaving behind his beloved wife Kari and two beloved daughters plus bills to pay, a funeral service potentially to prepare for and more (as of right now there are no immediate plans for a service as there are many things to sort through), it is my hope that our community can come together to support them. The funds in this GoFundMe will go directly to Kari to help with expenses and more as they navigate a catastrophic new normal.
