Help Kari Hill Recover from Life-Threatening Injuries

Kari is a 10 Years old kid who is so full of life literally the sweetest kid on earth he loves playing with his friends and of course he favorite pass time is video games. He is a smart Honor Roll 4th grade student at Brunson Elementary School in Winston-Salem, NC .

We're reaching out on behalf of our beloved friend/family member, Kari Hill, who is currently fighting for his life after suffering a series of devastating injuries from a Traumatic Car Accident.

Kari was rushed into emergency surgery on Friday, March 28, 2025, after doctors discovered multiple holes in his small intestines and bowels had completely detached from the small intestine a dangerously stretched urethra, severe inflammation/swelling to his major heart artery , two fractured ribs, a broken left shoulder, and severe spinal fractures in both the front and back of his spine.

On Friday, surgeons worked tirelessly to repair the internal damage to his abdomen. He was scheduled for another surgery on Monday , March 31st to close the incision, He Then underwent spinal surgery on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, to stabilize his back and to see exactly how much damage was done to the spinal cord

Kari was on a ventilator for several days and was in critical condition in the PICU at Attrium Brenner’s Children’s Hospital For a month. He’s now at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte , NC for rehabilitation. Kari currently has no function in his lower extremities he has a long road ahead — one that will involve intensive care, physical therapy, and extensive recovery.
