My name is Regina. My husband Johnie and I are trying to raise funds for my niece who was hit unexpectedly with a severe life threatening medical condition from just a simple accidental fall. About a month ago Karen went to take her trash out and she don't remember anything after that. When Karen woke up she realized she passed out she was pretty bruised up and realized her toenail had been ripped off due to the fall. She never thought anything of it she just kept it clean never ran a fever or had any sign of infection. A few weeks pass and her toe literally busted open and it was black on the inside and underneath. Karen was instructed by her physician to go to the hospital immediately that she was facing a life threatening event. In less than 24 hours Karen had to have her toe amputated due to gangrene. Karen has faced several obstacles she has had a total of 3 surgeries in just 5 days. Karen had a vascular surgery that led to a main artery bleed that took 8 hours to get under control. Karen also tested positive for mercer and there is a possibility the infection has reached her bones. Karen isn't no where out of the woods yet she has a long road of recovery and needs our support. She will be out of work for at least 12 weeks if not more. As everyone knows bills don't stop and now she is burdened with medical expenses. Any amount helps and will be greatly appreciated.
