Karen's Final Ride

On Monday eve we got a call about our Momma that no one wants to receive. She was in the ICU with kidney failure and was not expected to survive more than a few hours. Being the stubborn woman we all love, she has surprised everyone for 3 days and still hanging on! This is all so very shocking and sudden. She has been surrounded by Myself and Sabrina; Rachel and Robert; Danny, Shala and Dayvian; and Shelley and Dana the entire time. Tolerating our loudness and hearing more stories than I'm sure she wanted to know. None of this was expected it all falls on us. Poor Dayvian had to basically celebrate his bday here. What a trooper. As you can imagine, it's created a financial burden we weren't anticipating. We've all missed work to not leave her side. Any help of any kind will go directly to her final "ride".
