After bravely undergoing a mastectomy in April, Karen is now facing yet another medical battle, lung cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer has not responded to treatments, and now she must begin a new specialized chemotherapy.

These medications are not fully covered by insurance and come at a significant cost. Karen will likely need ongoing treatment for at least six months, along with daily support to help her manage everyday tasks — like climbing her stairs, preparing meals, and walking her dog.

Funds raised here will go directly toward:

-Life saving chemotherapy and related medical care

-Day-to-day living expenses (bills, groceries, etc)

-Services, like dog walkers and in-home support

Karen has always been strong, independent, and resilient — but right now, she truly needs her community. Every donation, no matter the size, helps to ease the financial stress so she can focus on healing and breathing a little easier — literally.
