Support Karen Orosco's Healing Journey

Hi, my name is Cassidy, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mother, Karen Orosco.

Karen recently underwent a major, life-saving surgery at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, a Whipple procedure (pancreaticoduodenectomy) to remove part of her pancreas and surrounding structures due to a serious medical condition. This complex surgery requires a long and difficult recovery, and while we’re incredibly grateful she made it through, she now faces a new set of challenges: mounting medical bills, travel costs, and extended time off work.

Karen has always been the heart of our family, loving, selfless, and strong. She’s the kind of person who would give everything she has to help others, and now it’s our turn to help her.

We’re asking for your support to help ease the financial burden as she heals. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward:

• Hospital and post-surgery medical bills

• Prescription medications and follow-up care

• Travel and lodging expenses related to treatment

• Daily living expenses during her recovery
