Support Karen Nichols' burial expenses

Update on Karen Nichols. With a heavy heart sadly Karen Nichols has passed away Thursday evening . Anything you can to help lay this beautiful sole to rest. Would be greatly appreciated. Hello All,

My name is Brenda Craig and I’m acting on behalf of my Aunt Karen Nichols and her son, Gary Sickler. As well as, Karen’s grandsons, Devin and Dean, whose mother has previously passed, having endured and succumbing to the devastating effects of stage IV uterine cancer. The very same advanced cancer that Karen, herself is now suffering with! Karen’s prognosis is terminal and she is sadly, not expected to survive much longer!

The past several years have been beyond difficult for Karen, as her mounting medical conditions, mental health and financial difficulties have left her with insurmountable debt, especially after suffering the loss of her daughter in 2018 and trying to care for her daughter’s sons, who were underage at the time of her daughter’s passing.

So as not to burden her only son, Gary, Karen did not reveal her crumbling financial situation. Unfortunately, it’s been recently discovered by Gary, that his mom, Karen had not paid her property taxes, as well as other living expenses (ie; Central Hudson, insurances, etc.)! Additionally, Karen had previously expressed that she had put away monies for end of life expenses to cover the costs associated with burial expenses and taking care of her grandchildren. However, it was also recently discovered, that there are no such records, accounts or “stashes” of any monies put away for her final expenses found!

So it is with a heavy heart and great sadness, that Karen and her family are in such a difficult situation, that I am here asking for your assistance by donating anything you can to help Karen’s family! Whereby, enabling Gary to secure and maintain the home that his nephews are and have been living in for several years! Additionally, it was also discovered this week, that their home could potentially be auctioned off for unpaid taxes in the next couple months!! Therefore, your donations would attempt to bring the property taxes and household bills current and pay for final expenses, after Karen’s passing!

Any help will be so greatly appreciated, as I and Gary will ensure that Karen’s finances and home are secured! Thank you in advance for your kindness, your support and most importantly, allowing Karen to rest in peace! Peace and Love ☮️
