Karen received the news on August 1st that she has metaplastic ductal carcinoma, which is a rare, aggressive form of breast cancer. Karen is no stranger to cancer, as her oldest daughter has had cancer, and Karen lost her son to cancer 6 years ago. Despite it all, she has pushed forward, staying strong for her family. Karen has a huge heart and will help anyone in need. Now, it's time for others to help her. As she starts her next steps in treatment, her husband, Tom, will be under a lot of stress- working, taking care of the kids, and being there for Karen as well.
