Support Karen in Getting A New Van (HOME)

Hi my name is Anna and I am fundraising for Karen (Karen The Dancing Lady).

Karen is a PNW local who plays a huge role in our Portland community and every community she touches.

Many know her as ‘Karen The Dancing Lady’ because she is always twirling her light amongst any gathering she arrives in - naturally showing others it is safe to be in their most authentic expression.

Whether she is driving for Lyft or working as a Lifty at the mountain, she is a true beacon of light, hope and genuine human connection.

She’s one of those people where I think, “Wow this woman is changing the world.”

On October 27th Karen was in a car accident, in which thankfully, she was not badly injured, however her van (The Happy Day Van) was completely crushed and totaled. This van was her vehicle and HOME.

Insurances companies are not going to cover the entire cost of van so she is facing housing and financial instability.

Karen is a one of a kind human being, the Love that she shares with the world is truly remarkable.

She says, “I believe at this time of my life, my purpose is to Love so that everyone can know what it feels like to be unconditionally loved. I choose to do this in low paying, unstable jobs even though it puts me in difficult situations like now because that is where humanity meets - on the front lines of life. I am on a mission to build a foundation of love in my life and my community, a foundation upon which we can build a new world where we are all healthy and whole."
