Karen Dean has shown incredible strength and resilience as she faces cancer for the third time. Her journey began in the 1990s, continued in 2024, and now she is bravely fighting once again. Throughout these battles, Karen has remained hopeful and determined, inspiring those around her with her courage and perseverance.

As she undergoes treatment, Karen is facing extra financial burdens that come with frequent doctor and specialist appointments, travel and parking expenses to and from Emory and local clinics, as well as co-pays and deductibles for procedures, surgery, and rehabilitation after surgery. These costs add up quickly and can be overwhelming, especially during such a challenging time.
