My best friend Kareena is someone who brings light into the lives of everyone around her. She is a loving daughter, sister, cousin, and friend—but above all, she is an incredible and devoted mom to her son, AJ. Right now, Kareena is fighting an incredibly difficult battle with cancer. While carrying that weight, she is also facing a heartbreaking custody situation. Her son’s father is currently withholding AJ, he is controlling the conditions of when and how she can see her own child. He has not let Kareena see AJ in over 3 weeks. It has made an already painful time even more overwhelming.
