Hi everyone, my name is Kareem, and I’m asking for support during a long, painful journey I’ve been fighting since 2019.

For the last few years, I’ve been battling nonstop injuries, surgeries, and setbacks. I’ve been out of work since 2019, trying to get my body right so I can get back to earning a living. My whole career has been heavy manual labor — moving, lifting, and doing the kind of work that destroys your knees over time.

This knee replacement is actually my third knee surgery, and I hoped it would finally be my turning point. I saved money to cover 3 months of bills because I knew recovery would be rough… but the truth is, a full recovery can take up to a year, especially with the type of work I do. I can’t rush back, because if I re-injure this knee, it could destroy my future completely.

On top of that, I had serious medical complications before the surgery — high blood pressure, pre-diabetic levels, and had to see a cardiologist just to get cleared. This hasn’t been an easy journey at all.

Right now, I’m asking for help to cover:

• Rent & basic living expenses

• Medical bills

• Physical therapy

• Recovery equipment

• Transportation to appointments

• Survival expenses until I’m cleared to work again

I’ve been pushing through pain, setbacks, and financial stress for years. I never wanted to ask for help, because I’ve always been the one taking care of myself and others. But this time, I truly need support to make it through this long recovery and finally get my life back.
