Supporting a Young Mother Fighting for Her Life

Our family is asking for prayers, love, and support for our beloved Kara, a devoted wife and mother of four who is courageously fighting for her life.

She is just 30 years old (turning 31 in February) and the heart of her family. She and her husband, Josh, are raising six beautiful children (he has two children from a previous marriage).

She is currently in liver failure, and doctors have told us that the only thing that will save her life is a liver transplant. Without one, her time is limited to only a few months. While this is heartbreaking to say, we are holding on to hope and praying every day for a miracle.

The emotional weight on this family is unimaginable, and the financial strain continues to grow. Josh is the only source of income while also caring for his wife and their six young children. Hospital stays, medical bills, and frequent trips to a hospital over an hour away have quickly added up. Gas, food, and everyday expenses are making it difficult for the family to stay afloat.

If a compatible liver is found, the transplant hospital is more than three hours from their home. This will require extended stays, lodging, meals, and additional travel costs during an already overwhelming time.

Our family is doing everything we can to help, but we cannot do this alone. We are humbly asking for support, whether through donations, sharing this fundraiser, or keeping this family in your prayers.

Even considering testing could give this young mother the chance to watch her children grow up.
