Hello, our names are Kas and Kristin and we are creating this Go Fund Me on behalf of our dear friend Kara. We have all been friends for years (Kristin and Kara since childhood!). I can't begin to know how many of you know her, and have a great "Kara" story. Whether you know her from MA, FL or in-between...you know Kara is a hard worker, a great friend, a kick ass bartender, a loyal Patriots fan & amazing Dog Mama to her Jami. If so, then you know how tough this is for her. No one ever wants to make one of these but, it's time to step up for our friend.

A few weeks ago, Kara got news that no one ever wants to hear. After having severe headaches for weeks and being diagnosed with migraines, she went back to E.R. There she found out she had not one, but two brain tumors. Yes, just like that. A few days and tests later at the hospital, she found out she has Stage 4 Lung Cancer as well. Not only does she have life threatening brain tumors, but she also has Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Anyone else would fall apart, cry, curl up in a ball...but not Kara. That would be an assault to her senses. Instead, as usual, she laughs and carries on. "It is what it is". Who DOES that? Who takes this kind of stuff is stride? Her.

The only thing that could hinder her determination to get better is money. So, this isn't her asking. She would never. This is us, her friends, her family, her PEOPLE. Before anything can be done about her cancer, she needs several treatments for her tumors. While she has insurance, each visit has a co-pay of $50. I'm not a math student but that's going to add up, quick. Please help us to rally around her, let her know she's loved, and give her the support and love she deserves!!
