We are reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of our dear relative Karanveer, whose life took a heartbreaking turn on 26th Oct 2024 in New Mexico, USA. He was an innocent victim in a tragic trucking accident through no fault of his own. While he was resting in the sleeper berth, the driver lost control of the truck. Unable to react in time due to being asleep, Karanveer sustained multiple injuries, including fractures to his neck, spinal cord, and legs. Doctors have diagnosed the neck injury as complete spinal cord injury leaving him paralyzed.

This tragedy has not only taken Karanveer’s mobility but has also placed a significant financial burden on him and his family. He remains in critical condition with no estimated discharge date, leaving him unable to earn any income for an indefinite period. The insurance coverage is inadequate, leaving him burdened with growing expenses for hospital bills, medications, ongoing therapies, and necessary accessibility modifications.

Karanveer has always been a hardworking, compassionate, and hopeful individual. Despite this life-altering injury, he remains resilient and determined to adjust to his new life. However, he cannot do it alone. He needs our support to access the care and equipment essential to rebuilding his life with dignity and comfort.
