As some of you may know me and some of you don’t, I’m Kanesha, a mother of three. I am a CNA and I love what I do. I recently had a cancer scare. I was admitted to the hospital, Tennova North, on Wednesday, 10-15-25. They found several lymph nodes from my neck all the way down to my abdomen, with some of them also pressing against the main artery to my heart. They were considering two different diagnoses, which were Lymphoma (cancerous) and Sarcoidosis (non-cancerous). This situation is the scariest thing that has ever happened to me or my family. The waiting, not knowing, getting blood drawn daily, being wide awake watching them pull tissue from my neck for my biopsy, the sleepless nights, and the worst part, being away from my children. As of today, October 21, my results came back as Sarcoidosis (non-cancerous). I want to thank God for answering all of mine and my family’s prayers. Even though it’s non-cancerous, I still have a ways to go with the healing process. I can’t go back to work until cleared by my lung specialist, and I won’t see him for a week or two. I NEVER ask for help, especially not this way; my pride is too big, but this experience is about to set my family back so much. I don’t have a specific amount I really need, but anything helps. The GoFundMe suggested that amount due to my reasoning for making one. If you have any questions, I’m willing to answer them; just inbox me on Facebook. My name on there, if you don’t know, is Shanae Shanae. I want to thank anyone and everyone in advance for taking the time to read my story and/or donate. God always has the last say, and He showed me that today. THANKS AGAIN.
