Support Kanela's Heart Transplant Journey

Donation protected
I would like to introduce my wife Sancha, but she would like for you to call her by her Hawaiian, Kanela. She is born and raised on the island of Maui. We met nearly 11 years ago and from the first time I saw her I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She is my Hula girl. At our wedding she danced a special Hula just for me, which represented her true love for me and I in turn have been devoted to her ever since. Shortly after she arrived on the Mainland, she started to experience shortness of Breath and chest pains. After numerous Doctor visits and Labs, she was diagnosed with Heart Failure. This wasn't a weakness, but a strength that we would take on together. I would be there for her as I promised and I always have. After 11 years her heart is giving out. She must undergo a Heart Transplant. The miracle of Medicine saves lives, but it can also be costly, which is why I'm here. My Kanela has made me a better man. Through everything that she has gone through, she still makes me laugh, makes me cry to see her not being able to do the things she loves like: Swimming, Reading, Watching dramas and most of all Antiquing. I'm a proud man, but she has also made me a humble man. She has taught me that there is no shame in asking for help. We have barely been apart since we first came together. We know what the other is thinking. We are definitely two puzzle pieces that complete each other's lives.
