Support Kandus Jellison's Heart Surgery Recovery

Two weeks ago, my friend Kandus Jellison was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. She is a 35-year-old single mom of 2 girls who attend Moravia School and is currently fostering until she is able to adopt her 5-month-old nephew come February 2025. She is scheduled to have open-heart surgery on February 3rd, 2025, at Mercy One Iowa Heart. She is off work until surgery and then will be off an additional 10 weeks if all goes well.

Kandus is the definition of selflessness. She is always willing to help out anyone, whether she knows them or not. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her, and I'm hoping to relieve some of the financial burden that will come with being off work for so long.
